Registration for the first round of NEET PG 2023 Counseling ends today at mcc.nic.in, how to Apply

The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will conclude registration for the first round of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate Counselling 2023 (NEET PG) today. Registration for the first round of NEET PG 2023 counseling is available till noon, and payment methods are accepted until 8 PM. Candidates who wish to enroll in post-graduate programs may fill out the round one counseling application form on the official website, mcc.nic.in.

After registering themselves, graduates must fill out their selections for courses and institutions. On August 2, the option-filling window for round one of NEET PG counseling 2023 is scheduled to shut.

For NEET PG counseling 2023, it’s essential for candidates to lock their choices after making them. On August 2, MCC will provide the choice locking option for round 1 from 3 pm to 11:55 pm. Students’ college selections will be locked automatically if they don’t lock them before the deadline.

How to Apply for NEET PG Counseling Round 1

Go to mcc.nic.in and choose the registration link from the homepage as your first step.

Step 2: After entering the required data, click the “Submit” button. Counseling credentials for NEET PG 2023 will be developed.

Step 3: Log on to the site and complete the registration by providing personal information including the names of your parents, your contact information, your category, and your nationality.

Pay the required registration fee (Rs 100 for AIQ or Central University General Category applicants, Rs 500 for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD Category candidates, and Rs 5000 for Deemed University applications) in the fourth step.

MCC provides NEET PG counseling in four rounds, namely rounds 1, 2, 3, and stray, for seats under the 50% All India Quota. For states like Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and many more, state quota admissions for PG medical programs are presently being organized.

For the allocation of 26,168 seats for the Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,649 seats for the Master of Surgery (MS), 922 seats for the Postgraduate Diploma, and 1,338 seats for the Diplomate of National Board – Centralised Entrance Test (DNB CET), the NEET PG counseling in 2023 would involve 6,102 colleges and 649 hospitals in total.
