Registration for the SSC SSA/UDC Exam has begun at ssc.nic.in for the 272 openings

The SSC SSA/UDC Examination online registration has begun, according to the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Visit the SSC’s official website at ssc.nic.in to apply for the Senior Secretariat Assistant/Upper Division Clerk Grade Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2020, 2021, and 2022. The online registration period will remain available until November 7, candidates should be aware.

However, the commission will conduct the computer-based test in February–March 2024, as per the timetable. It’s also crucial to remember that the SSC recruiting drive aims to fill a total of 272 positions inside the company. There are openings for 38 of the available positions in the 2020 recruiting year, 153 in the 2021 recruitment year, and 81 in the 2022 recruitment year.

Important dates for the SSC SSA/UDC Exam

— October 18 to November 7 is the deadline for online application submission.

— November 7 at 23:00 is the deadline for receiving online applications.

— February–March 2024 is the projected date range for the computer-based exam.

Exam eligibility requirements for the SSC SSA/UDC

A applicant must be under 50 years old on the crucial/cutoff date for the recruiting years 2020, 2021, and 2022 as set by their local Cadre Controlling Authority in order to apply for the aforementioned positions. According to government regulations, there will be an age relaxation for applicants from the restricted category.

SSA/UDC EXAM PATTERN FOR SSC

The written and computer-based tests will be administered in two phases: There will be two papers in Part I: Paper I, a computer-based test for 200 points, and Paper II, a written test worth 100 points. While the questions in Paper-II will be of the descriptive kind, those in Paper-I will be of the objective (multiple choice) variety. Be aware that each incorrect response will result in a 0.25 point deduction on the computer-based Paper I test.

Additionally, 100 points are set aside for the examination of service records (APARs). The candidate’s rank would be calculated by adding the marks earned in Part II.

Exam Selection Procedure for the SSC SSA/UDC

Additionally, there is a written test as part of the selection procedure. The applicant must be aware that the Staff Selection Commission will only hold the test in Delhi.

Candidates should be notified that after submitting their online applications, their respective Service/Cadre Controlling Authorities must send the printed versions of their applications, together with the necessary supporting documentation, to the address by November 22.
