Sanjay Singh’s typical day: visiting temples and Delhi CM home

AAP MP Sanjay Singh prayed at the Hanuman temple in Connaught Place here on Thursday, one day after being freed from Tihar prison. He said he prayed for common sense to triumph over the Central government, which is governed by the BJP. At Rajghat, he also honored Mahatma Gandhi.

He said at Rajghat that the manner in which the chief ministers of Jharkhand and Delhi were imprisoned marked the start of “dictatorship” in the nation. “They’re getting ready to lock up other chief ministers.” We must fight against it because it poses a serious threat to the nation’s democracy and Constitution,” he told reporters.

“I came here to pay my respects and ask for Mahatma Gandhi’s blessings. The Rajya Sabha MP stated, “I prayed for common sense to triumph over this government so that it stops toying with the freedom of the people, democracy, and Constitution in the country.”

Singh was freed from Tihar prison, where he had been detained for over six months, on Tuesday after the Supreme Court granted him bail in the now-dismissed money laundering case related to the liquor policy.

“With Lord Hanuman’s favor, I was granted bail. I came here to pay my respects to Hanuman ji along with my spouse. After visiting the Hanuman temple earlier in the day, he stated, “I have prayed for other AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal ji, Manish Sisodia, and Satyendar Jain ji to come out of jail soon.”

He will also visit the families of AAP leaders Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain, who are currently serving prison sentences, on Thursday.

“The passion among AAP workers last night demonstrated that all AAP ministers, legislators, and leaders are standing with their leader Arvind Kejriwal ji in the current situation, when all limits of injustice and atrocity have been crossed and a dictatorial government has put behind bars a chief minister elected by the two crore residents of Delhi,” Singh stated as he walked out of his house to the Hanuman temple.
