Satpal, an MLA, launches the BJP’s campaign for Anurag Thakur

In the Una Sadar Assembly segment on Monday, Una MLA Satpal Satti officially started the BJP campaign in support of Anurag Thakur, the candidate for the Lok Sabha. Speaking at a public event in Charatgarh village, he said that the Union Government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has strived to promote the interests of all societal groups.

Satti stated that the Ayushman Bharat healthcare initiative, which was offered at all government health facilities, including the AIIMS and PGI, had greatly helped people from all walks of life, especially those who belonged to the disadvantaged classes. He also gave an overview of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, which provided free LPG connections and refills to households from disadvantaged areas. He predicted that the BJP would win the state’s four Lok Sabha seats.

The BJP MLA said that the Congress party had abandoned the state’s citizens in order to gain power, stating that the party had made “guarantees” that they were unable to keep and that, as a result, the state’s innocent citizens had been taken advantage of.

According to Satti, the six Congress MLAs in Himachal Pradesh voiced their displeasure with the party in public. He said that things were becoming worse for law and order in the state. He went on, saying the BJP was not going to be able to stop the Congress administration in the state from falling.

The state administration, according to the BJP leader, forcefully shuttered 200 Aadhaar card centres in the state, leaving several hundred young people without jobs and inflicting difficulty on the populace.
