Suicide pact: Two kids also lose the struggle for survival

Following the demise of a Bhiwani-based couple who, together with their two kids, had tried suicide close to the ADC office, the adolescent son and daughter passed away today while receiving medical attention in a hospital.

On April 5, the four family members—who live in Bhiwani district’s Mitathal village—consumed poison close to the Mini-Secretariat Complex’s office.

Although Dharamvir (48) and his spouse Sushila Devi (38) passed on the day before, their children Mohit (15) and Sakshi (17) passed away today. The remains had been burned after the post-mortem examination, according to Civil Lines SHO Rajpal Singh, and Section 174 of the CrPC had been invoked.

Dharamvir filed a complaint over a property dispute with his brother, according to a police spokeswoman. The family went to the Mini-Secretariat and made an attempt at suicide, which ultimately resulted in their deaths, but a social panchayat attended the police station and informed them that they were attempting to come to a resolution.
