Teams who use flying squads prefer DMK: Nagendran Nainar

BJP’s Tirunelveli Lok Sabha candidate Nainar Nagendran said on Sunday that the flying squad team (FST) officers are prejudiced towards DMK leaders and have been targeting him, inspecting his cars three times a day, interfering with his election campaigning.

Speaking to the journalists at this location, Nagendran said, “The DMK has been giving money to a number of voters.” I am the only one being targeted by FST officers, who check my cars three times a day. My friends’ homes and the hotel where I had stayed were also broken into. Such acts prevent me from running a good campaign.”

He went on to say that the DMK had invited more ministers to Tirunelveli to campaign in an effort to prevent the BJP from winning the seat. According to Nagendran, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi will campaign for BJP candidates in Tirunelveli, Kanniyakumari, Thoothukudi, and Virudhunagar constituencies on Monday by attending a public meeting in Ambasamudram.”

The politician made a list of his election promises, promising that if elected, he will establish an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kendriya Vidyalayas, and Navodaya Vidyalayas in Tirunelveli.
