Telugu non-resident Indians residing in the United States of America have been asked by the chief minister, Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, to assist Andhra Pradesh in developing by providing the state with resources and experience.

The chief minister asked Telugu expatriates to contribute to the development of their home state in a special video message to the North American Telugu Association (NATA) conference in Dallas, which took place between June 30 and July 2, according to a government press release on Monday.

“The state is undergoing revolutionary reforms for the benefit of our future generations in the areas of education, health care, agriculture, and housing, in addition to the transparent execution of social schemes. AP needs your help to get these improvements ahead, Reddy addressed the NATA conference attendees.

Reddy described to them his “revolutionary” educational programmes, such as “Amma Vodi,” “Goru Muddha,” “Vidya Kanuka,” and “Vasathi Deevena,” which provide help in cash or kind to students or their families, while showcasing the improvements he has made in numerous disciplines. He also discussed how the state administration, which is governed by the YSRCP, firmly supports education as a means of advancing society.

He said that the reforms were made to help students from the state advance to lofty positions and become global citizens.

Additionally, he outlined the developments achieved as a result of the “Nadu Nedu” plan, including the provision of bilingual textbooks, digital instruction, and TOEFL training, among other things.

When discussing governance, Reddy emphasised the more than 600 civic services provided to residents of the state via village secretariats, among other administrative efforts.

CM said that in addition to their financial support, he also needed the NRIs’ wealth of expertise for the state to achieve all-around development. He expressed to the audience the pride that people in the state feel about the success of NRIs who were born on Telugu soil and went on to work in top positions in the US.
