The BJP objected to the Congress fulfilling their Rs 1,500 pledge to Himachal women: Pathania, Kuldeep Singh

Congressmen, accompanied by Chief Whip of the party in the Assembly, Kewal Singh Pathania, greeted Chief Minister Sukhvinder Sukhu, Speaker of the Vidhan Sabha, Kuldeep Singh Pathania, and Mandi Lok Sabha candidate Vikramaditya Singh upon their arrival at the Gaggal Airport today.

Speaking to reporters, Pathania said that the state government has complied with the women’s Rs. 1,500 promise. The fact that the BJP objected to this plan demonstrated that it was only acting like a feminist organisation in order to win over women to vote for it. Had the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) really cared about women, it would have expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and let women apply for the scheme’s benefits without any hindrance. According to him, the BJP began protesting against the program, not in favour of it.

“Workers all across the nation are calling for the reinstatement of the Old Pension Scheme (OPS), but the BJP government at the center is anti-worker,” Pathania said. The OPS was put into effect in Rajasthan by the Ashok Gehlot-led Congress administration. In the first Cabinet meeting after its formation, the Rajasthani BJP government announced its intention to abolish the OPS. The Central Government opposes providing the OPS as well.

On the other side, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Sukhu kept his word to state workers by introducing the first guarantee of the old pension program at the first Cabinet meeting after the Congress took power in Himachal Pradesh.

“The Congress follows its directives. Ten years have passed since the BJP-led government took office at the national level, and it has not kept any of the promises it made to the populace. It has simply misled the public in order to win over support. Currently, neither the return of black money nor a decrease in inflation have occurred. He stated, “The Modi government is providing gas cylinders at a cost of Rs 1,200, whereas the previous Congress government gave LPG cylinders to the people at a cost of Rs 450.”

According to Pathania, the BJP tormented people by forcing them to wait in line for their own money and by enforcing demonetization.
