The BJP poses the greatest danger to women in the nation: Atishi

The saffron party, according to Delhi ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj, is the “biggest threat” to women in the nation. They assailed Lt-Governor VK Saxena and the BJP on Thursday over the termination of contractual staff of the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) who were “illegally” hired.

Atishi said, “The L-G has ordered the removal of the DCW staff from the commission. The staff helped thousands of victims of rape, acid attacks, and domestic abuse. Through its helpline, the DCW provided justice to lakhs of women.” The Central Government, headed by the BJP, encourages rapists by giving them tickets and dismantling the commission that defends the rights of weak, victimized women. The worst danger to women in our country is the BJP, as the whole nation should be aware,” she said.

Bharadwaj, her cabinet colleague, said that the L-G was impeding all of the Delhi government’s commendable efforts.
