The exclusive ‘plan of action’ devised by the Enforcement Directorate for Arvind Kejriwal

Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi and the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), was detained on Thursday night in relation to the now-discontinued Delhi liquor policy case. According to India Today, the Enforcement Directorate plans to request that Kejriwal spend around ten days in detention. After 2:00 PM today, he will appear in person before a PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) court.

India Today found out about the ED’s action plan for Arvind Kejriwal. The federal agency intends to request detention in light of the accused’s remarks in the liquor policy case. These include businessmen Sarath Reddy and Sameer Mahendru; Raghav Magunta Reddy, the son of YSR Congress party MP Magunta Srinivasula Reddy; and a member of BRS leader K Kavitha’s staff.

The daughter of former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Kavitha, was detained by the ED last week in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case. The Supreme Court rejected her appeal on Friday.

According to what India Today has learned, each of these suspects has informed the investigating agency about Arvind Kejriwal’s role in a bribery scheme worth Rs 100 crore.

The Delhi Chief Minister reportedly added, “Vijay Nair is my boy,” during a phone call with Sameer Mahendru, which the Enforcement Directorate will also bring up. You can rely on him.”

The AAP and money trail have also been connected by the federal agency.
