The next chief minister of Rajasthan will be revealed during the BJP Legislature Party meeting today

The much-awaited announcement about the next chief minister of Rajasthan is slated to occur on Tuesday night during the 4 pm Bharatiya Janata Party Legislature Party meeting.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, a central observer for the Bhajanlal Sharma-led party, and National Vice President Saroj Pandey and National General Secretary Vinod Tawde, co-observers, will also be present at the meeting, which is scheduled to take place at the party’s state headquarters.

All newly elected MLAs are required to attend, and the chief minister’s identity will be revealed at the meeting.

Former chief minister Vasundhara Raje and Union ministers Arjun Ram Meghwal, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and Ashwini Vaishnaw are among the front-runners for the prestigious post.

In the most recent elections, the BJP won 115 of the 199 seats that were contested; in one constituency, voting was delayed because of the untimely death of a candidate.

There have been a lot of rumors since a number of BJP MLAs recently visited former chief minister Raje, which some have seen as a sign of support.

However, party officials like the defeated candidate Rajendra Rathore stress that the BJP has no history of putting up a strong performance. Rathore emphasized the unity among the BJP leaders in the state on Monday by clarifying that MLA visits to senior leaders are more about sharing wishes and should not be misconstrued.
