The Political Legacy and Fascinating Family Tree of Ajit Pawar

Ajit Pawar, the leader of the opposition, split the Nationalist Congress Party on Sunday and was sworn in as the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, which was a significant political step. With this action, he becomes the state’s ninth deputy chief minister. Ajit Pawar is a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly for the Baramati district and comes from a political family. Here, we provide some details about his ancestry.

Anantrao Pawar, the father of Ajit Pawar, worked in Bombay’s “Rajkamal Studios” under famed director V. Shantaram. However, we don’t know what his mother’s name is. Sharda and Govind Pawar were his grandparents. Additionally, he has a business-related older brother called Shriniwas. But it’s important to note that on January 22, 2017, his sister Vijaya Patil (Media Person) died away.

Govindrao Pawar, Ajit Pawar’s grandpa, worked for the Baramati Co-operative Trading, while his grandmother looked after the family farm.

Sharad Pawar, Ajit’s uncle, has had a significant role within the family as the four-time Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Sharad Pawar became known as a famous politician in Maharashtra when Ajit was still in school. Sharad Pawar was associated with the Indian National Congress (INC) during the time. Supriya Sule, a member of parliament, is a relative of Ajit Pawar. Due to their ups and downs, this family’s internal dynamics often get media attention.

According to a number of public publications, Sharad Pawar has expressed reservations about Ajit Pawar’s leadership skills and eligibility for higher positions within the party owing to Ajit’s power-oriented mentality and contentious utterances.

Ajit Pawar is married to Sunetra Pawar, a former minister from Maharashtra whose father is Padamsinh Bajirao Patil. Jay Pawar and Parth Pawar are the couple’s two kids. Jay is a businessman, but Parth entered politics and ran for the Maharashtra seat of Maval in the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, albeit he was soundly defeated.
