Today is the start of Hyderabad’s Fire Service Week

The Telangana State Disaster Response and Fire Services Department is preparing to host a Fire Service Week from April 14–20 in an effort to raise public awareness of fire safety.

Director General (Fire) Y Nagi Reddy will begin the week-long awareness campaign on Sunday at the Telangana Fire Services State Training School.

The awareness campaign will be coordinated by fire department officials in public spaces such as malls, hospitals, bus and train stations, and multiplexes.

In addition, department officials will attend upskilling seminars and workshops to expand their understanding of fire safety, life safety, and fire prevention.
