Tomorrow, PM will dedicate Una Critical Care Unit

At 4 p.m. on February 25, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will essentially lay the cornerstone of a critical care unit at the Una district hospital. In a news statement, the BJP said that previous Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur secured approval from the Center for the Rs 16.37 crore critical care center when he was in office.

According to Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Una, the facility would be built on an empty area next to the hospital’s Mother and Child Care Center. He continued by saying that Hospital Services Consultancy Services, a private organization, had been given the task of building the project and that the work was scheduled to be finished in a year.

Ten of the fifty beds in the critical care unit would be in the intensive care unit, according to the CMO. The hospital would also have two specialized operating rooms: one for gynecological procedures and one for general and orthopedic surgery.
