Trash accumulates on Jalandhar highways

Since garbage lifting has been entirely suspended for the last three days, the state of the city is becoming worse with every day that goes by.

Notably, contractors have said that they would not remove rubbish until they get their work orders and money.

Garbage piles are seen on a number of the city’s highways. Information indicates that the MC Commissioner has established a committee to investigate outstanding invoices and the contractor payment amounts. The choice will be made no later than March 25.
