What is known in the Delhi bomb scare case: the threat letter, the police finding, and the center’s response

On Wednesday morning, threat emails were sent to about 100 schools in Delhi-NCR, causing fear in the nation’s capital. Although nothing has been discovered so far, and every school is being inspected by police and the bomb disposal team, the sender threatened educational institutions with the ID “Sawarim.”

The email claims that there are several explosive devices in schools, according to a top official.

“Kill them wherever you find them, and expel them from the locations where they forced you to go” (2:19). The school is filled with explosive devices. A police official revealed the email to News18 under the condition of anonymity. “Allah subhanallah, Wata’ala has given us a chance that inherited few have to become martyrs in the territory of war in the abode of the enemies of Islam and with them we sent down iron with its great might benefits for humanity,” the official said.

The official went on to read the letter, saying, “Our hearts are embraced by the iron in our hands.” We’ll send him into the air to rip your disgusting corpses to pieces, inshallah. If Allah permits, we will rend your lips and necks. We’re going to throw you into the flames, where their tongues will smother you with live bait and melt you. For the Kafirs, insha’Allah, a perpetual flame has been prescribed.

The email goes on to state, “The evil that you have created will cause smoke to descend into the sky.” There’s a lot of empty iron in you. Did you genuinely believe that everything bad you had done since you were a little kid would go unpunished? We have taken on the jihadi fire inside us and have become its fuel.

This is the end for those who reject faith. We are going to let loose fire under your feet. This is your last refugee, the official said, paraphrasing an email that was sent to around a hundred schools.

As of Wednesday at midday, Delhi Fire Service (DFS) reported that at least 97 calls had come in from various schools.

According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, there’s no need to fear since it seems to be a fake threat. Delhi Police claimed that after thoroughly inspecting every school that was the target of the bomb threat, they had discovered nothing.

All of the schools that got the emails were investigated extensively by Noida Police, and it was discovered that the bomb threat was a fake, according to Additional Commissioner of Police (law and order) Shivhari Meena.

“Police teams responded to the situation immediately after a chain of schools received a threatening email this morning,” Additional CP Meena said.

“Every one of these schools that was threatened was examined in detail and cleaned out. It is established that the email was sent in order to start a rumor, and no such thing (threat) has surfaced elsewhere,” he said.

Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena responded to the situation by writing on X that he had spoken with the police commissioner and requested a thorough investigation into the bomb threats made at Delhi-NCR schools.
