A 21-year-old Indian player wins the Ranji Trophy with back-to-back hundreds before the England Test series

India is preparing for the England Test series, which consists of five matches. At home, the Men in Blue will be trying to extend their winning streak. India’s campaign will surely be led by players like as Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Axar Patel, and Ravichandran Ashwin, while up-and-coming talent will also want to leave their imprint.

Notably, Tilak Varma is likely creating a name for himself on India’s home circuit before of the series. The players who perform in the Ranji Trophy may be selected for India, while the selection for the following three Test matches has not yet been announced. The Southpaw was not included in the team for the first two Test matches.

In the Ranji Trophy, Tilak Varma, who represents Hyderabad, has amassed back-to-back centuries in the national competition in India. Varma was on fire as he hit a hundred runs in the domestic match between Hyderabad and Sikkim Plate. Tilak, who batted fourth, maintained Hyderabad’s lead while opener Tanmay was also challenging the opposition’s bowlers. About two weeks ago, he scored an undefeated hundred against Nagaland. Varma struck out on 112 balls for a 100*.
