Eager for the 2024 Indian Premier League, Mitchell Starc discusses equations with Virat Kohli: I first met him at RCB

In a Star Sports promotional film, the Australian pacer was questioned about his thoughts about returning to the competition. Starc expressed his excitement and eagerness to perform in front of boisterous Indian audiences. When asked about Virat Kohli, Starc described the Indian player as a “warm and humble off the field but fierce competitor off it.”

“I do have happy memories of my little time working with Virat at the RCB. In addition, he was the captain. I had never really gotten to know him before then, especially off the field. Off the pitch, he is such a different guy. A very kind and modest person off the field, but very competitive when it comes to playing sports. That’s what I remember most about him,” Starc said in the interview.

Kolkata Knight Riders, who have made significant progress in 2023, will be anticipating the arrival of this speedster. Starc won both the ODI World Cup and the World Test Championship with Australia. In both instances, Australia emerged victorious against India in the tournament finale. The fast bowler will provide KKR with the expertise and ability to bowl at a ferocious tempo.

In 27 IPL games, Starc has claimed 34 wickets at an economy rate of 7.17.
