Following KKR’s historic victory against DC, Shah Rukh Khan speaks with Kuldeep Yadav, Rishabh Pant, and other players

Indian cricket players and the sport in general have always had Shah Rukh Khan’s ardent support. Being the team’s owner, he is often seen on the pitch cheering on and supporting the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). But after the game, he is also seen mingling and enjoying himself with the players from other teams. The Jawan actor is seen greeting and inspiring the players of both his squad and the Delhi Capitals (DC) on Wednesday in a video that has been doing the rounds online.

Following the KKR vs. DC game in Visakhapatnam, SRK can be heard cheering on Kuldeep Yadav, Rishabh Pant, and Ishant Sharma, among other players, in the viral video. KKR maintained their winning streak in the Indian Premier League (IPL) by defeating DC by an overwhelming 106 runs in the 16th game of the competition. With three victories in their first three games, Shreyas Iyer’s Kolkata squad surged to the top of the IPL 2024 points standings, while Delhi dropped to ninth place after three losses in their first four games.

At the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Sunil Narine and Angkrish Raghuvanshi struck fast fifties to help Kolkata to a 272-run score when they batted first. After that, Kolkata’s outstanding bowling allowed Delhi to be bowled out for only 166.

Shah Rukh had three consecutive hit films in 2023—Pathan, Jawan, and Dunki—making it one of the finest years of his more than three-decade acting career. Additionally, he appeared in the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif film Tiger 3. Although SRK has not officially disclosed any upcoming projects, it is widely believed that he will co-star in the Sujoy Ghosh-directed film with his daughter Suhana.
