Ishan Kishan last played in a T20I series at home against Australia in November of last year, just before he lost his BCCI contract. He left halfway through a multi-format tour in South Africa and went back to India.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) squad was then represented by the keeper-batter in the DY Patil T20 event in Mumbai last month.
