Weather Forecast for Day 2 of the IND vs. SA Test Match: Will rain ruin things once again in Centurion?

Wednesday, December 27, is the second day of the first Test between South Africa and India. Regretfully, the first day was severely affected by the weather; precipitation fell just before Tea, which caused the activities to come to an immediate stop. After 59 overs, India’s score at the conclusion of Day 1 was 208 for 8.

KL Rahul, who scored 70 runs off 105 balls without losing, was vital in the Indian innings and provided stability. Nevertheless, the visitors were dealt an early blow when Shubman Gill (2), Yashasvi Jaiswal (17) and Rohit Sharma (5) left the first session. Shreyas Iyer and Virat Kohli had a promising partnership, but both lost in short succession after failing to translate into significant runs. KL Rahul now has the responsibility of scoring a competitive total, but it’s unclear how much play will be feasible on Wednesday.

With regard to Day 2, Centurion’s weather is not expected to be great. It is predicted to be around 19°C during the day and 14°C at night, which means it will be chilly outside. But the rain that is expected is the biggest worry.

There is an 84% probability of rain in Centurion on Wednesday, according to AccuWeather. 99% of the sky will be covered with clouds throughout the day. From 12 PM to 2 PM local time, there is predicted to be intermittent rain after a few showers in the early morning. The game is set to start at 10:00 AM. Another bout of rain is expected around 4 PM, according to the MET agency. As with yesterday, there might be stop-start play throughout the match, which would throw off the pace. Rain in the morning might further exacerbate the outfield’s damage and postpone the start of play.
