Welcome to the official website of WFI, featuring a picture of Brij Bhushan grinning and wrestlers in protest

If they were to personally interact, former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) President and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and medal-winning top Indian wrestlers Bajrang Punia, Sakshi Malik, and Vinesh Phogat may not agree. However, Brij Bhushan, who is still the president of the Wrestling Federation of India, praises the golden squad for making the country proud on the organization’s official website.

The official website of the organisation posted a photo of the in question Brij Bhushan Singh laughing and sporting a large red turban in the midst of the wrestlers’ issue.

Since he became president of WFI, the photograph has remained there. The image that is now being displayed on the website seems a bit out of place after the debate and his formal removal.

“The image wasn’t supposed to be there. We have helped the country to be proud of itself. We also wish to file a FIR against the defendant due to a significant accusation. “How could his picture be there when he is reportedly gone and the government is serious about the issue raised by the wrestlers?” asks Jagbeer Singh, an international referee of renown who has been appointed to the WFI panel.

Sakshi Malik, Bajrung Punia, and other well-known wrestlers are still listed on the Wrestlers Federation of India’s main page as members of the Golden Team of Wrestling. There is a two-minute video of Brij Bhushan Singh congratulating the Indian wrestlers and their efforts to make the country proud with the wrestlers who won medals.

Clicking on the executive committee brings up an image of Bajrang Punia in action. Additionally, the executive committee is inscribed on top of this image. Additionally, the names of every member are included underneath the photo, along with the title of president.

Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who has been a member of the Lok Sabha since 2019 and the president of WFI, is the first name listed. In addition to existing federation members, there are other members listed on the website, including I. D. Nanawati, Asit Saha, Hamza Bin Omer, N. Phoni, Neikhrolo khalo, Darshan Lal, Karan Bhushan Singh, V.N. Prasood, Satyapal Singh Deshwal, and Sanjay Kumar Singh.
