Woman and Lover in UP Sentenced to Life in Prison for Killing Husband

A lady and her boyfriend were given life sentences by a court in this city on Friday for the murder of the woman’s husband in May 2020.

Additionally, the court fined Sunita Devi and Shri Chand Patel Rs 15,000 apiece, according to assistant district government attorney Anirudh Mishra.

Ramchandra Patel, a native of Chouradih village in Uttar Pradesh’s Kaushambi district, was allegedly strangled to death with a pillow as he slept at his home, according to the prosecution.

On May 18, 2020, a case was opened at the Charva police station based on a complaint made by her wife.
