118 more people are detained for allegedly falsifying a police test

Lucknow: The fight against fraudulent practices resumed on the second day of the Uttar Pradesh Police recruitment test for 60,244 constable vacancies. After making 126 arrests on Saturday, the UP STF and district police together apprehended 118 additional cheaters, increasing the total number of arrests to 244.
The man in charge of overseeing the administration of the test, DGP Prashant Kumar, expressed pleasure despite the difficulty presented by the large number of applicants—roughly 50 lakh.

He applauded state police agencies for their increased alertness throughout the last week, which successfully thwarted efforts to jeopardize test integrity by means of solutions or paper leaks.
Kumar outlined the several security protocols put in place, such as the stringent enforcement of the regulations banning electronic devices from test centers. “Advanced techniques like face recognition, biometric verification, Aadhaar authentication, and jammers to block communication further secure the process,” he said.
