In a terrible occurrence, a large fire that started at a dealership in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, on Monday resulted in the deaths of four persons, including a lady.
According to reports, the fire destroyed a three-story electronics showroom and a sports shop that were both situated in the Sipri Bazar neighbourhood.
Three individuals were reportedly burned alive inside the showroom, and their remains were later found.
A lady who was an assistant manager at a United Insurance Company was saved by the police and sent to the hospital, where she died from burn injuries while receiving treatment.
Police and fire personnel worked together to rescue people for almost ten hours.
The Jhansi District Magistrate, Ravindra Kumar, has mandated an investigation to ascertain what started the fire.
