On the other hand, the administration asserts that everything was under control and that all necessary preparations were made to provide the devotees uninterrupted darshan. On the grounds of the temple are the Principal Secretary for Home and the Special DG for Law and Order. In addition, senior local government representatives are in attendance. To guarantee that pilgrims have darshan without incident, more than 8,000 security guards are in place.
