After the explosion in Kerala, there is a high alert in UP

Uttar Pradesh has been placed on high alert after the bombings that occurred on Sunday at a convention center in Kerala.

All district police and the ATS in Uttar Pradesh have been directed to maintain heightened awareness and identify any potential suspects.

Prashant Kumar, Special DG for Law and Order, said that a warning had been issued earlier due to the Israel-Hamas conflict.

“Data on the current occurrence in Kerala is being gathered. The demonstrations in favor of Israel and Palestine are also being attentively watched out of concern,” he said.

According to Kumar, the Kerala Police and other central intelligence agencies are in communication with the UP Police. He said that individuals connected to Kerala’s extremist groups are being located around the state.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) recently conducted raids in seven districts, including Lucknow, Bhadohi, Sant Kabirnagar, and Ballia, targeting individuals connected to these groups.
