The father and uncle were detained by the Uttar Pradesh Police on Wednesday after the murder of two toddlers in Baba Colony, Badaun. The parents are also distraught and searching for information as the UP Police continues to investigate the cause of the heinous crime.

On Tuesday night, at around 7:30 p.m., the alleged accused, Sajid, entered the home and proceeded to the terrace where the kids were playing. He killed the two kids after attacking them.
The throng attempted to stop him as he descended, but he managed to get away. The accused opened fire on the cops, killing them in the process of retaliation. Both the handgun and the murder weapon have been found.
The brother of the accused, Javed, has also been mentioned in the FIR by the family of the two murdered children, who were about 11 and 6 years old.
The deceased’s father said, “Javed and Sajid both came down after the murder. My spouse had entered to get the cash. When she saw that both of them had blood on their clothing and on the knife, Javed said to my wife, “Maine aapna kaam pura kiya” (I finished my task today).
The third youngster arrived at the crime site after the disturbance. He did, however, escape with just minor wounds.
The culprit allegedly sought Rs 5,000 from the father of the murdered children, according to the family.
