Class 10 student detained in the Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh for making “objectionable remarks” against Hindu deities

In the Bareilly region of Uttar Pradesh, a 15-year-old student was held on Sunday for reportedly uttering offensive words about Hindu gods and goddesses, according to police.

The words made by the Class 10 kid on social media, according to local BJP leader Mintu Singh, offended Hindu organizations.

Following the student’s words being extensively shared online in the form of screenshots, BJP officials and followers of Hindu organizations went to the Izatnagar police station and urged that the youngster be punished.

The police opened an investigation under the Information Technology Act based on their allegation.

The adolescent was seized and sent to a juvenile detention facility, according to the police.
