UP: Man Posts Act Video Online After Raping a Minor
The guy who uploaded the video of the incident online is accused of raping a 16-year-old girl, according to reports made by Muzaffarnagar police on Wednesday.
According to Circle Officer (CO) Rajkumar Sav, Waseem, the accused, reportedly sexually assaulted the woman in a sugarcane field two weeks ago and recorded the incident on camera.
Waseem threatened to post the video on social media if the girl told anybody about the event, according to the victim’s family’s complaint.
The girl was forced by the accused into a sugarcane field, where she was raped. In addition, he threatened to release the film and inflict severe penalties on the girl should she tell anybody about the event, according to the CO.
“The girl didn’t complain to anyone about the incident because she was afraid of the threats,” Sav said.
But according to him, the victim’s parents contacted the police after the accused uploaded the footage online on Tuesday.
In accordance with the provisions of the Information Technology Act and Indian Penal Code Section 376, police have filed a formal complaint. In an attempt to locate Waseem, who has been missing since Tuesday night, several police units have been assembled.
