A viral video shows a mother and daughter holding a man’s collar over a seat issue on a train from Dehradun to Gorakhpur

Two ladies were seen getting into a heated argument with another passenger in a recent video that went viral and led many to accuse Indian Railways of “turning a blind eye” to ticketless individuals traveling on trains with no repercussions. As the other passengers saw the spectacle, one of the ladies began threatening and insulting him while holding his collar due to a “seat issue.”

The woman and her kid were the pair in issue, and they requested that the guy get off the seat. Both were vying for the same seat, however it was unclear whether it was the man’s or the pair’s. Although the incident’s date and location could not be verified, the widely shared tweet said that it happened on the Dehradun to Gorakhpur train.

The user “Arhant Shelby” posted the video on the social networking site X, which was previously known as Twitter. The image was reposted with the title, “Kalesh b/w a Mother-Daughter Duo and a Man inside Dehradun to Gorakhpur train over Seat issues on Women’s Day,” by the account Ghar ki Kalyash.

The video quickly gained popularity on social media after being posted. While the majority of passengers denounced the ladies and their actions, some labeled such instances as “common” inside the trains. Along with calling for action, several also accused Indian Railways of being indifferent to individuals traveling without tickets. Four days ago, the video was posted, and 582K people liked it.
