Actual 12th Failed IPS A Sincere Tribute Is Given To Manoj Sharma By His School

Both reviewers and viewers found the film 12th Fail, which is based on the life and hardships of IPS officer Manoj Sharma, to be highly praised. The movie depicts Sharma’s actual journey from failing the civil services test as a 12th grader to clearing it. The IPS officer recently posted on X (formerly Twitter) about a unique homage from his Madhya Pradesh small school in Bilgram.

Sharma said in the article that while people may recognize his name anywhere in the globe, he was more happy when he was connected to something good in his community.

He posted images of a memorial that said, “Gaon Ka Gaurav,” or “Pride of the Village,” and was inscribed on the wall of his rural school. The school sent out a statement thanking Sharma for serving as an inspiration and an example to others.

The caption by IPS Manoj Sharma says, “Your name can be written on any corner of the world, but the greatest happiness comes only when something good for you is written on the wall of your village school.”

“Hum sabhi ke liye adarsh hai aap ki?” As we speak, we are getting closer. It said, “(You are an inspiration for all of us),” on the wall.

People responded quickly to the post on the microblogging platform X by sharing their opinions. One user described it as “one of the biggest satisfaction and achievements of life.” Someone wrote, “You deserve this.” “Sir, it is a proud feeling,” said another. For the younger generation, you serve as an inspiration. The post has received over 229,660 views so far.

Regarding the 12th Fail:

In October 2023, the motion picture 12th Fail was released. The movie is based on Anurag Pathak’s 2019 book of the same name, which describes Manoj Sharma’s struggle with abject poverty while pursuing his dream of becoming an IPS officer. Lead parts in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 12th Fail go to Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankar.

In addition to winning Best Actor (Critics’ Choice) for Vikrant Massey, 12th Fail took home several other honors at the 2024 Filmfare Awards, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Editing. In an interview with Times of India, Vidhu Vinod Chopra said that Rajkumar Hirani was the one who recommended that he adapt Manoj Sharma’s novel into a movie.
