Amit Jain and Namita Thapar square off for a chronic pain treatment company on Shark Tank India 3, with the former taunting, “Aap toh apni expertise pe rukiye na.”

With their platform for managing chronic pain, Amit Bhayani and Manjeet Singh were the third pitching of the day on the most recent Shark Tank India 3 show. They have developed an app that uses AI, yoga, and physiotherapy to help users comprehend their discomfort. Following a camera-assisted evaluation, the client receives a customized plan as well as a report with advice from physiotherapists and yoga therapists. They want 2% equity, which is Rs 1 crore.

Vineeta takes the evaluation as the pitchers demonstrate their app. Next, the score is 45 out of 100. Struck, Vineeta asks, “Itni kharab report? “My lifetime is 90 years old, and I haven’t found my niche yet,” Manjeet explains that they did this by skipping other workouts. Then, Amit queries how it alleviates physical discomfort and ascertains whether it is only a matter of inflexibility.
When Anupam questioned them about their expansion, Namita and Amit realized their business plan, and Aman was a little confused about how they had client complaints. The pitchers disclose that they were formerly co-founders of Unicorns, a company that has been making more than Rs 100 cr and is still expanding when questioned about their histories. “Aap yahan aajao, wahan kyun khade ho,” remarks Aman.
Namita Thapar makes an offer after further questioning that includes Rs 50 lakhs for 2.5% equity and Rs 50 lakhs in loan with a two-year 10% interest rate. Aman, Vineeta, and Anupam leave again. As Namita puts it, “Ekdum karti hu sab logon se main ekdum samajh mein hi nahi aaya hai.” Market ki main hi gundi hu jaise ek mahapursh ne kaha hai. ‘Namita don’t hurry, I am still talking,’ Amit urges as she goes on. After asking a few more questions, he states, “Technology companies, rather than pharmaceutical companies, lag rahi hai.” “Wrong, they are already from a tech background; they need to create awareness, and that is something only I can give,” retorts Namita. Amit makes a proposal of Rs 50 lakhs for Rs 50 lakhs in debt at 12% interest for two years and Rs 1% equity. Amit teases Namita as she changes her offer, saying, “Aree Namita aap toh apni expertise pe rukiye na.” Namita modifies the equity to one-half.

The pitchers leave to talk. Vineeta queries who they plan to take. Naturally, Namita replies. They might also take Amit, according to Aman. “Mujhe lag hi nahi raha ki teri zarurat hai unko,” Amit says to Namita. How can I assist you? Sharks like to go alone, but the pitchers come back and counter with Amit and Namita combined. Namita makes a last offer that includes 1.32% equity. Pitchers choose Namita even if Amit matches their offer.
