‘Ashamed’ Of His ‘Friends’, Jean-Claude Van-Damme appeared

Over the years, several celebrities have made cameo appearances on the venerable sitcom “Friends.” Among them is the well-known Belgian martial artist and actor Jean-Claude Van Damme, who recently said that he feels guilty about his appearance beside Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston.

The actor portrayed himself alongside Rachel played by Jennifer Aniston and Monica played by Courteney Cox in the episode titled “The One After the Super Bowl: Part 2.”

In the episode, when Jean-Claude Van Damme begins shooting a movie in New York City, Rachel and Monica develop feelings for him. However, because Monica is too timid, Rachel approaches him first, which sparks an argument about who gets to go on a date with him.

In a subsequent interview, Van Damme recalled the event and told the New York Post, “My acting is so bad.” I seem like such a ham. As in, “Hey, girls.” I feel as if I should be ashamed of myself.

“Then I was on the set, and those girls go and kiss me, and they kiss me on the lips,” he went on. I had no idea how to proceed or what to do. It was peculiar. They were very pleasant.”

It was revealed by Van Damme that, prior to his involvement in the second season of the program, he really knew very little about it.

“So, I see those two gorgeous girls at the show, and I hear that it’s the hottest show in the world right now,” I said. Thus, I was very happy,” the “Kickboxer” actor reminisced. “You have to do an episode with them,” my agency then advised. Thus, you will portray this man.

The actor said that even if he dislikes his appearance in the show, the whole experience “was a good memory.”

Because they performed the performance every day, they were rather transparent. For them, then, I go into a realm where everything functions like a highly skilled mechanic’s engine. It was fantastic,” he continued.

Among the many famous people who have made cameos in “Friends” are Brad Pitt, Christina Applegate, George Clooney, Bruce Willis, Winona Ryder, and Jean-Claude Van Damme.
