‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ with Manoj Bajpayee and Nawazuddin is praised by Amitabh Bachchan in ‘KBC 15’
Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary actor of Hindi cinema and the current presenter of season 15 of “Kaun Banega Crorepati,” praised the gangster action crime film Gangs of Wasseypur and called it a “nice series.”
Anurag Kashyap produced and directed the two-part film Gangs of Wasseypur (2012). Zeishan and Anurag Quadri are the authors.
Manoj Bajpayee, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Pankaj Tripathi, Rajkummar Rao, Richa Chadda, Huma Qureshi, and Tigmanshu Dhulia are all included in the ensemble cast, with the major parts.
The drama takes place over 68 years, from 1941 to 2009, and centers on the coal mafia (Mafia Raj) of Dhanbad and the underlying power struggles, politics, and retribution amongst three criminal families.
Sardar Khan is portrayed by Manoj, Shahid Khan by Jaideep Ahlawat, Faizal Khan by Nawazuddin, Nagma Khatoon by Richa, Sultan Qureshi by Pankaj, and Mohsina Hamid by Huma.
Piyush Mishra, Jameel Khan, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Vicky Kaushal all appear in the movie in cameo roles.
The reality program with quizzes welcomed Pravin Gorasia from Madhapar, Gujarat, to the hot seat in episode 39.
