Kranti Redkar, an actress and Sameer Wankhede’s wife, claims that Pakistan has been threatening her life

Marathi actress Kranti Redkar-Wankhede has claimed to have received death threats. She is married to Sameer Wankhede, a former Mumbai zonal director of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). She officially complained to the Goregaon police station, but they haven’t yet filed a legal case.
Kranti Redkar revealed the threatening numbers to the world on X, the former Twitter, where she also expressed her predicament.

“Numerous Pakistani numbers and a UK number have been threatening to kill me on my cell phone. I only wanted to alert you to it 🙏. This has been going on for the last year. Kranti posted, tagging the Mumbai police and the chief minister of Maharashtra, “The police have been informed on a regular basis.”

Kranti’s lawsuit reportedly claims that on March 6, an unknown caller from the UK verbally harassed her and threatened to kill her and her family. She allegedly got offensive messages on WhatsApp later that day from a number that seemed to be from Pakistan. The Pakistani WhatsApp number had a picture of an Aadhaar card on it, allegedly belonging to a guy from Assam called Iqbal Hussain.
Responding to the accusation, the police told ANI, “Actress Kranti Redkar, wife of former Mumbai NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede,, received death threats and obscene messages coming from Pakistani numbers. Sameer Wankhede’s wife has lodged her complaint at Goregaon Police Station.” The inquiry into the situation is still ongoing.
