Meet the actress who turned down blockbuster roles with Salman, Anil Kapoor, and SRK, went through two divorces, and had her career destroyed as a result of

Our careers are either made or broken by the choices we make in life. In the film business, it has often happened that a celebrity declines to collaborate on a project and the movie goes on to become an enormous smash. While an established celebrity may be able to get away with it, it might be disastrous for an up-and-coming actor or actress to make such a move. We’ll tell you about one such actress today who has acted in TV shows and movies and is well-known for her attractiveness. But because of certain choices she made in her career, this actress never became a household name.

We are speaking about none other than Deepshikha Nagpal, who is renowned for having the appearance of former actor Praveen Babi. 1993 saw Deepshikha make her TV debut in “Kanoon,” while 1994 saw her make her Bollywood debut in “Gangster.”

Deepshikha recently admitted in an interview that she had turned down the role of Salman Khan in “Karan Arjun” (1995). Deepshikha said, “The first day I met Rakesh Roshan, he offered me Karan Arjun,” in an interview with Siddharth Kannan. I declined right away.”

“I thought that if I said no, he would cast my sister,” she said, “but now I realize that he wanted a beautiful girl.” This was for Mamta Kulkarni’s part. He never questioned me why, just answered, “Okay.”

In addition to rejecting “Karan Arjun,” Deepshikha also resisted being given a bad part in Shah Rukh Khan’s “Om Shanti Om.”

Additionally, Deepshikha said that Anil Kapoor asked her to sing in a song from his popular movie “Laadla.”

“Anil Kapoor contacted me for a song called ‘Laadla’. You look like Parveen Babi, he remarked. ‘Ladki Hai Kya Re Baba’ was the song in question. After hearing him, I declined. I mentioned wanting to work on a movie with you,” she said.

You would be shocked to hear that Deepshikha turned down two Salman Khan movies throughout her career. She declined to perform a prominent role in the Salman Khan and Urmila Matondkar film “Jaanam Samjha Karo” because she was too impetuous.

Now that she’s in her later years, Deepshikha Nagpal feels that her early overconfidence cost her a lot of possibilities. ‘Na Umra Ki Seema Ho’ and ‘Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein 2’ featured Deepshikha. These days, she primarily appears on television; she is not given any substantial parts in any TV series or motion pictures.

Deepshika’s personal life has been as turbulent as her cinematic career. At age 20, she wed the actor Jeet Upendra. Despite having two kids, they were divorced 10 years later. She remarried to Indore-born Keshav Arora in January 2012, but the two parted ways in 2016. Aarti Nagpal, her elder sister, is an actor as well.
