Meets her parents as Aamir Khan pays a visit to the late Dangal co-star Suhani Bhatnagar’s residence in Faridabad

Recently, at Suhani Bhatnagar’s family home in Faridabad, actor Aamir Khan paid a last homage to his late co-star. On social media, a photo from his visit has emerged.

He is shown standing next to Suhani’s framed portrait among her parents and other family members. In the smash blockbuster film Dangal, Suhani portrayed Aamir’s daughter. Suhani portrayed a younger version of wrestler Babita Phogat, while Aamir portrayed Mahavir Singh Phogat.

Suhani was receiving treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, for a rare inflammatory condition called dermatomyositis. According to her mother, the symptoms began two months ago with swelling in the left hand.

Pooja Bhatnagar, Suhani’s mother, revealed to ANI on Sunday how Aamir connected with the family and even asked them to Ira Khan’s wedding, even though she was still finding it difficult to accept her daughter’s passing.

“Aamir Sir never stopped communicating with her. He is a kind individual. We were so upset that we didn’t tell him about her illness. We didn’t tell anybody and we kept it to ourselves. We could have even texted him, and he would have answered right away and given us a call. From the moment he met Suhani, he clicked with her. We just even got an official invitation to his daughter’s wedding. He even gave us a call to let us know we had to go,” the late actor’s mother informed ANI.

They were unable to attend Ira’s wedding for a reason Pooja disclosed: “Suhani was recovering from a fracture at the time and couldn’t travel.”

Following the tragic news of Suhani’s death on Saturday, Aamir Khan Productions sent an emotional message on their X account.

“We are so sorry to learn about dear Suhani’s demise. We send our deepest sympathies to her mother Poojaji and the whole family. Suhani is such a gifted young woman and a great team player that Dangal wouldn’t have been the same without her. You will always be a star in our hearts, Suhani. “May you find peace and rest,” the message said.
