“Starfish” Teaser: A Ride of Suspense”
After the film’s filming was over, the teaser for actor Milnd Soman and actress Khushalii Kumar’s new project, “Starfish,” was eventually made public. Milnd, who is perhaps the movie’s most enigmatic character, has perfect George Clooney vibes in his ‘Spiritual Guru’ persona.
The 45-second movie is an odd short with some romantic romance and music that suddenly takes on a sinister, gloomy tone and poses as some kind of suspenseful journey.
The whole clip is presented from the perspective of actress Khushalii Kumar, who is heard saying: “Memories may be odd, and possibly even deeper than the water. Sometimes what seems on the surface is not what it really is. That’s pretty much how my life is.
Khushalii might be seen as a sexy and fiercely independent lady right from the bat. The teaser shows her diving, swimming, and listening to music while she is always in a good mood.
Then, after meeting Ehan Bhatt and developing a connection with him, she discovers blood on her hands while unexpectedly listening to music with Milind Soman playing the guitar.
She cries as Khuhalii is shown in the water once again and a montage of numerous images plays out, the background music continuing to match what is being shown in the clip.
Miling Soman is now only visible for a split second playing the guitar at what seems to be a modest open-air seashore gathering while sporting a smile and long white hair.
The ‘Valley of Flowers’ actor, who gained notoriety in the 1990s music video for Biddu’s ‘Made in India’ song, has maintained his good looks and oozes charm while wearing a fashionable vest without sleeves.
One of the most telling hints as to what the movie truly is—a mountain of unpredictable—is the tune. The tune, an ambient pop song, nicely captures it while simultaneously providing a startling contrast, giving the impression that “Starfish” is probably a horror movie.
It was a dream, like a shooting star, don’t know where to look again, sings Kumaar in the song’s lyrics. The decision to lose oneself is made by the heart, but when did this darkness appear out of nowhere? What we got in its place was not what we had hoped for.
The teaser demonstrates that “Starfish” has a really powerful and vivid production, which is done to contrast the darker, and more depressing, aspect of the movie, which demonstrates that the whole movie has a highly fascinating premise.
