The movie shoot starring Tamannah Bhatia at JJ Hospital was abandoned despite obtaining the required clearances

According to sources on Thursday, Tamannah Bhatia’s filming at JJ Hospital was abruptly stopped due to a stay order. The actress, who has been filming her next movie, ran into a snag in her production when Hasan Mushrif, the Minister of Medical Education, requested that the project be stopped.
Despite the fact that the production company got the required approvals from the Health Ministry and a no-objection certificate (NOC) from the police station before the shooting, sources state that hospital officials interrupted the ten-day program.

The production crew apparently suffered large financial losses as a result of the hospital administrators’ abrupt decision to discontinue shooting.
The crew is already packing up their gear and waiting for approval to start shooting again.
JJ Hospital Dean Pallavi Saple addressed the matter and told MidDay, “We had originally approved the filming based on letters from the NOC and the health department. But we stopped shooting right away when we received a letter from the health ministry requesting a hold on production.”
Mushrif confirmed the involvement, saying that a letter rescinding the authorization had apparently been given to the hospital and that they were requested to immediately cease any shooting on the property.
The method by which the production firm got approval for the filming is being looked at.
The health officer for the state government had cautioned against filming inside government hospitals in 2005 due to possible disruptions to patient care and hospital operations.
The decision to stop filming in government hospitals is the result of previous events, such as as the unrest that occurred at St.. George’s Hospital in 2004 while the movie “Bunty Aur Babli” was being filmed. Health officials intervened when it was reported that patients had complained about disruptions occurring on hospital property. Accordingly, requests to film at Cama Hospital were also turned down.
