Accident in Afghanistan’s Samangan province results in 3 deaths and 5 injuries

According to a report from Khaama Press on Monday, an accident in Afghanistan’s Northern Province of Samangan resulted in at least three fatalities and five injuries.

According to Sayed Usman Hamidi, a provincial health officer designated by the Taliban, the accident happened on Sunday, and as a result, the five wounded, including three who were in severe condition, were brought to a nearby hospital.

According to authorities, irresponsible driving, unsafe roads, badly maintained automobiles, and a failure to obey traffic laws are all contributing factors to the present rise in traffic accidents.

 

Over 259 individuals have been injured in car accidents in the Herat province in the first week of July. A Taliban official was reported by Khaama Press as stating, “In the last five days, we had 259 injured traffic accidents and, sadly, three deaths.”

 

The majority of those hurt, according to the official, were teens and young adults. The majority of occurrences and injuries, according to medical authorities, happened during the Eid holiday.

 

The province of Nangarhar in eastern Afghanistan had the most events throughout the course of the Eid holidays. According to Khaama Press, there were 168 injuries and at least two fatalities related to road incidents in the region.

 

Additionally, according to Khaama Press, there had been over 300 injuries and over 12 fatalities as a result of traffic incidents nationwide.

 

On the other hand, before to Eid, a number of traffic incidents in various provinces resulted in the deaths of 33 persons and the injuries of 45 more.
