Watch: At a rally in New Hampshire, Vivek Ramaswamy endorses Trump as the crowd chants “VP, VP, VP.”

Following his resounding victory in Iowa, which cemented his status as the front-runner for the Republican nomination, Donald Trump made an appearance at the New Hampshire event on Tuesday. The former president won the largest Iowa caucus victory by garnering 51% of Republican ballots against opponents Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley.

In spite of a succession of scandals that would topple most other politicians, Trump hopes to make a spectacular run for the White House, and a victory in Tuesday’s primary would almost guarantee him the nomination. Biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, who withdrew and backed the former president on Monday night, joined Trump to New Hampshire.

“Last night, I had the great honor of accepting the man’s support. He has grown into a real leader and won the respect of a great number of patriots. As he welcomed the Indian American on stage at the event, the 77-year-old stated, “I have been his friend even though we were competing against each other.”

Speaking to Trump’s followers, Ramaswamy said that the US was “in the middle of a war.” “There is no conflict between black and white. In a broader sense, it’s not a conflict between Republicans and Democrats. It’s between the permanent state and the common citizen, he said, between those of us who cherish the US and a small minority that despises the US and all it stands for.

The 38-year-old political neophyte said that he had congratulated the former president on his win in Iowa over the phone earlier on Monday night. At a motel in Des Moines, Ramaswamy informed the assembled supporters that Trump “will have my full endorsement for the presidency.” And I believe we’re going to act in our nation’s best interests. Therefore, I’m going to urge you to join me in advancing the America First movement,” he said. Trump claimed that Ramaswamy “did a helluva job” throughout the campaign in his previous victory address.

“Vice President, Vice President”

After Vivek concluded her speech on Tuesday at the New Hampshire platform, the Trump audience yelled “VP VP VP.” Despite the goodwill on both sides, it is still unclear if Vivek will support Trump in the vice presidential race should the former president win back the White House. Despite receiving backing from Republicans, Trump’s senior adviser had previously all but ruled out the chance that Ramaswamy would be chosen as Vice President.

Voters might “probably” reject the Indian American nominee as the former president’s running mate, according to Trump advisor Jason Miller. It’s very fair to predict that it won’t be Vivek, Miller said on Saturday to the New York Post. In the past, the youngest GOP contender said he is not a “plan B person.” But analysts think that following Monday night’s endorsement, things may shift.
