Check the Schedule for the Revised Dates of the ICAI CA 2024 May Session Exam

The updated dates for the CA May 2024 tests have been released by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Group I CA inter examinations are scheduled for May 3, 5, and 9, while Group II exams are scheduled for May 11, 15, and 17. Final examinations for group I will be given on May 2, 4, and 8, while final exams for group II will be given on May 10, 14, and 16. Additionally, on May 14 and 16, there will be an International Taxation Assessment Test, or INTT-AT.

The whole updated schedule is available for candidates to see at icai.org, the official website. “Furthermore, it should be noted that the examination schedule will remain unchanged in the event that any of the aforementioned examination days are designated as public holidays by the Central Government, any State Government, or any Local Authority,” the official ICAI notification states.

Following the release of the dates for this year’s general elections for the 18th Lok Sabha, the institution postponed the CA intermediate and final examinations for the May session. On April 19, the elections will take place, and on June 4, the results will be released. The letter further said, “It is hereby notified for general information that the Chartered Accountant Examinations, May 2024, stand rescheduled in view of the elections to the 18th Lok Sabha across India.”

The Foundation and Inter examinations will be conducted three times a year, as the ICAI has previously said. Twice a year, it was being given. “Welcoming move by the ICAI to bring a beneficial change in favor of the CA student fraternity by introducing CA examinations thrice a year for CA Foundation and CA Inter level,” said Dhiraj Khandelwal, a member of the ICAI’s Central Council (CCM). The ICAI will shortly provide further details.
