CUET UG 2024: More than 13 lakh applications are registered, with English receiving the most
The Common University Entrance Examination (CUET UG 2024) was administered by the National Testing Agency, or NTA, and 13,47,618 students applied for it this year. Nonetheless, there aren’t as many applications this year as there were last year.
Approximately 14 lakh registrations were received in the previous year, with 8.03 lakh males and 6.96 lakh girls applying. This year, online applications have been filed by 6.30 lakh females and 7.17 lakh boys.
English continues to be the most popular topic, with an astounding 10,07,336 registrations. According to sources, English is the most popular language, followed by General Test at number two with 8,34,207 registrations, Chemistry at 7,01,750 registrations, Physics at 6,72,773 enrolled candidates, and Mathematics at 4,86,365 registrations.
The number of students choosing to take several topics has increased this year. In contrast to other years, students have selected four or more disciplines. This year, Tibetan, Italian, Dogri, Chinese, Russian, Maithali, Sindhi, Konkani, and Tibetan are the least popular topics.
The CUET UG Exam will take place starting on May 15, 2024, and run through May 30, 2024. According to the announcement, the examination city slip will be available on April 30, 2024, and the admission card will probably be sent out in the second week of May. On June 30, the results will be announced.
English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu are the thirteen languages in which the test will be offered.
