Meet Jayanti Gupta, the teacher and older sister of CSK captain MS Dhoni. She is wed to an Indian cricket player

There is a proverb that states, “There is a woman behind every successful man.” With regard to MS Dhoni, this was once again shown to be accurate.

One of the most well-known cricket players in history, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is still respected and recognized for his time leading Team India after he retired. With the exception of the IPL, MS Dhoni has retired from all forms of cricket. He now captains the Chennai Super Kings and earns around Rs 50 crore a year.

Jayanti Gupta, his elder sister, had a crucial part in “Captain Cool’s” phenomenal popularity. Since his father worked for the government in a mid-level position, Dhoni’s family came from a middle-class background.

As the oldest child of Pan Singh Dhoni and Devaki Devi, Jayanti Gupta is said to be three or four years older than the former captain of Team India.

Jayanti has been her younger brother’s biggest supporter ever since he first declared his desire to play cricket and represent his nation. She supported him in following his passion for sports and stood by him when their father disagreed with Dhoni’s desire to become a cricket player.

Despite her brother’s enormous net worth of over Rs 1000 crore and his status as the world’s most famous cricket player, Jayanti keeps a low profile and avoids interaction with the media. She is presently employed at a public school in Ranchi, Jharkhand, as an English teacher.

Although she is wed to Ranchi native Gautam Gupta, one of Dhoni’s closest and longest friends. In addition, Gautam was a key contributor to Dhoni’s path, having helped him in his early career when he was a state and district player. This was depicted in the Dhoni biopic as well.
