FINAL MINUTE ADVICE FOR THE 2024 CLASS 12 ENGLISH BOARD EXAM:

The English Core paper is broken up into three parts:

Reading is covered in Section A (20 marks), writing skills are covered in Section B (20 points), and literature is covered in Section C (40 marks).

Try completing the paper in the three parts’ sequence.

Do not rearrange the questions in sections A, B, or C if you would want them changed.

Tips for Section A (20 marks)

The comprehension paragraphs are found in questions 1 and 2.

Give Section A forty minutes.

Spend the whole fifteen minutes reading the two comprehension chapters.

Tips for Section B (20 marks)

Give Section B forty-five minutes.

Each question has five marks.

Recognize and be ready for the notice-writing format.

Writing a letter of application for a job takes time. Choose not to apply for the job if you are unaware of the educational requirements. Go for the letter to the editor instead. Selecting this option is safer.

Write articles and reports that reflect your opinions and have a personal touch.

Tips for Section C (40 marks)

Every day, read the literary textbooks you have.

When drafting your response, keep it concise and straightforward. You’ll do well if you include value points in your responses.

Give your pros and poetry your whole attention.

The CBSE has begun to assign questions based on recurring themes found in different chapters. Examples from the poems: Aunt Jennifer’s Tiger and My Mother at 66 both deal with women in our culture.

Chapter examples: “Lost Spring” and “Going Places” both discuss goals and desires.
Make an effort to compare and completely examine both of them.

For efficient time management, complete the CBSE practice papers a day or two before to the test.
