13-year-old girl abducted from UP village and sexually assaulted in Hyderabad

According to authorities on Tuesday, a 13-year-old girl was reportedly abducted by a guy from a hamlet in the Ballia area of Uttar Pradesh and brought to Hyderabad, where she was sexually assaulted for over a week.

The guy (19) was taken into custody on November 27 from the nearby bus station, while the girl (19) was saved on November 25 from a location beneath the Maniyar police station in Ballia, according to reports.

The guy used to reside in the girl’s neighborhood, according to the police. They say he was taken to prison. According to Mantosh Singh, the Maniyar Station House Officer (SHO), she was abducted on November 18 and her father filed a complaint, leading to the registration of a case under relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

According to the girl’s allegation, the guy abducted her, brought her to Hyderabad, and sexually assaulted her for about a week, according to the SHO.

Section 376 (rape) of the Indian Penal Code and pertinent sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act were added to the case after the girl’s testimony.
