205 Sikh pilgrims will go to Pakistan to attend the memorial service for Maharaja Ranjit Singh

In order to participate in the gathering on the anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s passing, 205 Sikh pilgrims would go to Pakistan.

On June 21, a ‘jatha’ (group) of Sikh pilgrims is allegedly scheduled to depart for Pakistan. Additionally, they must go to gurdwaras in the adjoining nation.

According to sources, the 205 pilgrim visas for Pakistan have been obtained by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), and the ‘jatha’ will depart for Pakistan on June 21.

According to reports, SGPC secretary Partap Singh informed the media that 276 pilgrims’ passports were given so they could get visas to enter Pakistan to visit other Sikh temples and to join the congregation at Gurdwara Dehra Sahib in Lahore.

According to Singh in a statement, 205 pilgrims were granted visas from this group.

Singh further said that the Sikh “jatha” will attend the congregation on June 29 at Gurdwara Dehra Sahib Lahore after visiting other Gurdwara Sahibs. According to reports, they will go back to India on June 30.
