39 government personnel from Cambodia visit NIS in Patiala

39 Cambodian public personnel are visiting the city to have fruitful talks with representatives from the police and civil administrations. The delegation, which is in India to take part in the fourth iteration of the training program on “Public Policy and Governance,” is being led by Eng Monyrith, Deputy Director, Cambodia Cabinet. The program is being held by the National Centre for Good Governance, LBSNNA, Mussoorie, and New Delhi, and is run by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India.

On behalf of Deputy Commissioner Showkat Ahmad Parray, Municipal Commissioner Aditya Dachalwal greeted the group and emphasized the value of these kinds of cross-cultural interactions in improving government procedures.

The goal of the training program is to provide participants with vital insights and best practices in public policy formation and governance techniques. It is particularly designed for Cambodian civil officials. The delegates will acquire a profound comprehension of the complexities associated with efficient governance via interactive seminars, workshops, and immersive learning experiences.

This will pave the way for improved service delivery and administrative efficiency in Cambodia. Speaking on the occasion, Eng Monyrith and Chankoulika Bo emphasized the value of bilateral collaboration in promoting sustainable development and bolstering administrative capabilities, as well as their thanks for the kind greeting. Additionally, the group met with Executive Director Vineet Kumar at the NIS.
