A 25-year-old guy perishes at Noida mall after riding the water slide

The local police launched an inquiry when a 25-year-old man from Delhi passed away soon after riding a slide at a water park housed within a Noida mall, according to authorities.

According to them, Dhanjay Maheshwari and his four pals went to the Entertainment City water park at the Great India Place (GIP) Mall on Sunday afternoon. Sector 38A is within the jurisdiction of the Sector 39 police station.

Once the pals had gathered their costumes and secured their possessions in lockers, they all headed directly to the slide. One by one they came and began sliding, and that’s when Maheshwari started experiencing respiratory problems out of the blue, according to a police spokeswoman.

“He sat on the ground to take rest but not feeling any better, he was taken to nearby Kailash Hospital by an ambulance of GIP Mall authorities, where the doctors declared him dead,” stated a spokeswoman.

Maheshwari’s family members arrived in Noida shortly after the tragedy, according to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Noida), Manish Mishra, and the corpse was being sent for a postmortem.

Maheshwari resided on Shivaji Road Extension in Adarsh Nagar, Delhi.

Mishra clarified the cause of death by saying, “We have initiated legal proceedings and the body has been sent for autopsy after which the reason could be confirmed.”

The police officer said that the accusations made by the family about the mall’s management’s alleged carelessness are being looked into.
